Supporting cancer Patients
The Trust will offer complimentary treatments to men and women undergoing or recovering from treatments for any type of cancer. Our aim is to assist individuals to come to terms with possible changes to their body that may occur when undergoing treatment for cancer whilst also reducing their stress levels by offering a luxurious pampering experience and wonderful treatments.
Feeling 'normal' again is acknowledged to be an important stage in recovering from cancer treatment and Cedars Amethyst Trust is proud to play a role in helping local people get their lives back on track.
How it works
Cedars Health and Beauty Centre is a luxurious environment and employs a friendly team of highly qualified and experienced therapists. Each patient will receive three hours of treatments; a typical choice might be a reflexology or reiki treatment, a luxury facial and a deluxe manicure. In total this would normally cost £130 but those receiving cancer care will be given the opportunity to have a few hours of pampering, balancing and revitalising treatments absolutely free. Cedars Amethyst Trust will run independently from Cedars Health and Beauty Centre. The trust will raise the funds needed in order to pay for each hour of free treatment offered. In this way Cedars Health and Beauty Centre will be able to make an ongoing positive contribution to the local community and make a significant difference in improving the lives of local cancer patients.
